Colm McCann
(AKA
DJ McCannito) Colm has performed across the UK as both a
musician and dancer. He has a BA(hons) in Arts & Education
and enjoys working with both children and those with Special Needs.
He takes a very casual but technically precise approach to his
classes, ensuring that the basics will allow an understanding
of the key movements in Salsa and how these are used and developed
as learners progress.
Colm has also DJ'd at a number of high profile events across the
UK including Salsa and Dance music functions. He is a regular
DJ for Salsa-NI's key events which have included venues such as
the Waterfront Hall, Belfast and the Belfast Castle as well as
Salsa Grande in Custom House Square (Belfast) and also Salsa-NI's
regular Friday nights at the Empire Music Hall. He is regularly
in touch with DJs from across Europe to ensure that Northern Ireland
is uptodate in the trends and developments in Salsa music across
the globe.
