Danielle Knocker

Danielle Knocker:

Danielle is a graduate of BA(Hons) Dance at the University of Ulster. She is called upon by many female dancers for her experience in Lady's Styling and Shines as well as techniques for spinning, posture and footwork.
Danielle has choreographed works for performances in both the Waterfront Hall in Belfast and at Magee University, Derry as well as performing as part of Inter-University projects between the University of Ulster and Queens University Belfast and
touring Scotland as part of the YDance Company during Summer '07. Danielle has worked with some of the UK's top choreographers of contemporary dance and is the first Dancer to be awarded a SPEED Business Award from an Inter-University body to develop the teaching of Dance in Northern Ireland.

Colm McCann:
(AKA DJ McCannito) Colm has performed across the UK as both a musician and dancer. He has a BA(hons) in Arts & Education and enjoys working with both children and those with Special Needs. He takes a very casual but technically precise approach to his classes, ensuring that the basics will allow an understanding of the key movements in Salsa and how these are used and developed as learners progress.
Colm has also DJ'd at a number of high profile events across the UK including Salsa and Dance music functions. He is a regular DJ for Salsa-NI's key events which have included venues such as the Waterfront Hall, Belfast and the Belfast Castle as well as Salsa Grande in Custom House Square (Belfast) and also Salsa-NI's regular Friday nights at the Empire Music Hall. He is regularly in touch with DJs from across Europe to ensure that Northern Ireland is uptodate in the trends and developments in Salsa music across the globe.
